How I can ease my back pain?

I was a little stressed out and my neck, shoulders and upper (and middle) are again sore. Is there a simple exercise I can do at home to help ease other than taking painkillers and ice? I want a cure home.

Is it a question about back pain injuries after four years?

I fell from a tree 15 to 17 feet, 2005 and was stunned. I do not know how I got, or how much time lying on the ground. I was alone. I was very good when I woke up, but a few months later I was in debilitating pain. From there have been several MRI and went through all kinds of therapy and chiropractic to address this problem. I have the onset of arthritis in my back, my hips are out center in the fall, herniated disc, and a benign hemangioma, and also hurts the sternum and persistent organic pollutants very hard since the accident. (For to name a few.) I went to the doctors office many times, and this year I had pain in the upper right when I look at size. I looked, and had ultrasound to see if something is there does not exist. Therefore, it is possible that nerve is being pinched in the spine and referred pain in my side? I have a herniated disc in my neck ……?

Currently I'm at the end of steroid treatment for a herniated disc cervical (neck). I have one more day of steroid pills to take. The pain has improved but not disappeared. Now when I walk, I can clearly feel and hear a crack in the back. To the first I thought it was when my arm was moved during the march, but when I held my arms again, even popping occurrence. This is really scaring me. So, does anyone know the next step in that this hernia is (still pain) and no one knows what the hell this noise pop in my back??

Anyone ever had or know anyone who needed spinal fusion surgery?

My sister has to have spinal fusion surgery. She is only 42 years old and she has a 70% chance of a successful surgery in which she will not wind up in a wheelchair. She was recently diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease, Scoliosis, Sciatica, herniated discs in the lumbar spine, fractures and cysts in the lumbar spine, Lumbar Spine Stenosis, and Spondylosis, and there are pieces of her vertebrae floating inside her spine. Basically her spine is crumbling like a cracker. They say this is hereditary, but we know of no one in our family ever having anything like this. I really worry about back surgery of any sort, because I have never heard of a successful back surgery. She has no choice, the surgery is not an option. She must have it or she will definitely be in a wheelchair.

I think your sister needs to do some more homework. I believe if she really looks into spinal fusion she will find that her chances of success with that is far less than 70%. In fact, it’s about 18% at the very best. And yes, she does have some options, but not if she is only talking to surgeons.

The word “degenerative” is very telling. I’m sure she has NOT consulted with a Certified Nutritional Therapist that understands QRA testing because if she did, she would know there are things that can be done to make her healthy, not some “MAKE BELIEVE HEALTH” from surgery.

Additionally, she needs to consult with a good Doctor that does “Prolotherapy” to evaluate whether or not she can correct the problem that way. To tell your sister that this is “hereditary” and nothing else can be done is ludicrous. Ask the doctors what GENE or GENE COMBINATION is causing the problem and to show you the genetic report that proves it is hereditary. And even if it is, something has to trigger that gene activity.

Don’t give in to surgery unless it is the absolute last option. Do your homework and help your sister. Doctors are NOT trained in nutrition and have no clue how it can help her. Drugs and surgery are their only weapons.

I have a herniated disc in my neck, I don’t want to have surgery.?

I have numbness in my right arm migrains and shoulder pain. I don’t like to take pain pills or muscle relaxers. I’ve done that they don’t help to much. I have done accupunture and it helps some. Does anyone know of any other alternatives that might help.

You need to go thorough testing, imaging studies to determine the severity of your condition. You can try physical therapy but the numbness indicates never damage. Pain killers might not be working for you because you haven’t found the right one, not all pain killers are made equal. I doubt there’s any lasting effects to the acupuncture therapy, it might help but it will not solve your problem long term. Surgery might be your best choice for a long term solution, you really need to consider it.
