The insurance company car driver known for being "stingy" with money. My lawyer was surprised that I even received a offer for all of them. Your bid is for K $ 10 (less the expenses of my lawyer I got back 6 million K). Does that sound reasonable? Should I take him to court? For Please explain and not just "yes" or "no." A big thank you!

Here is the answer to your lawyer should be familiar MBA with: Now that you have an offer in hand, wondering what is going BATNA – Best Alternative to a negotiated settlement. This is where you really are in the seat the driver, so to speak, if the lawyer has warned that any negotiations all. If he says he can not do better, get a second opinion. Five Natural Ways to Stop Chronic Lower Back Pain

If you are one of those people, who is suffering from chronic lower back pain that is excruciating and immobilizing, you are not alone. There are millions of people across the globe, who are suffering from the same condition. It can be frustrating and unnerving to carry out everyday tasks and concentrating on your job, with the nagging back ache. Many a treatment for chronic lower back pain is existent today that assure you relief from the searing pain. Apart from medicines, natural remedies also exist to cure the chronic pain.

Chronic lower back pain causes:
Chronic back ache are caused by major diseases like cancer, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and fibromylagia. Most of the people who are injured in a serious accident find themselves debilitated by chronic lower back pain throughout their lives. Even bad posture, sudden jerks or movements, incorrect ways of doing exercises and falls can result in chronic lower back ache.

Natural ways to counter severe chronic lower back pain:

Change your posture:
One of the common causes of chronic lower back pain is definitely bad posture. When you adopt a clumsy posture, you create tension along the spine and this can strain your shoulders, back, legs and neck. A bad posture can also result in disrupting breathing and circulation of blood that can upset the musculoskeletal system. Slouching and hunching can also strain your back. So, adopt a good posture by sitting straight and upright. Breathing deeply and moving around frequently can help ease the tension on your back and can give you chronic lower back pain relief.

Get a good mattress:
There is a false notion that soft mattresses cause severe back ache. The true fact remains that any hard mattress makes the back to hyperextend. Hyperextension can aggravate the chronic lower back and hip pain. When you go shopping for a mattress always buy a soft mattress that is ideal for the curvature of your spine. This kind of soft mattress keeps the lower back in flexed position and slightly stretched, so that there is no nagging pain when you wake up.

Use legs not back:
Normally when we lift a weight we put great pressure on our back. Instead, keep your lower back in arched position and lift the load. Bend the knees and put the pressure on your leg muscles. An upright torso while lifting weights can always avoid the risk of chronic lower back pain.

Exercise routines:
Inclusion of a strict exercise regime for 30 minutes to one hour, everyday can alleviate chronic pain and prevent the occurrence of the same. If you are suffering from chronic lower back and hip pain, it is imperative that you take the advice of a fitness expert. Only a fitness expert can help you with an exercise routine, according to your body condition and physical ability. Body alignment exercises, Bowen therapy and exclusive exercises for the lower back can strengthen the back and abdominal muscles.

Choose comfort over style:
Ladies today choose stylish footwear that are high-heeled like stilettos. They can definitely accentuate your presence but they can damage your back, irreparably. A sturdy shoe and flat footwear can definitely look good on you and save you from many an endless chronic lower back pain treatment. You can stop chronic lower back pain by being cautious and rational.

Herniated Disc Nerve Root

herniated disc nerve root
How do you correct or heal a herniated disk that is pinching on the L5-S1 nerve root?

I have tried rest, taking motrin (NSAID), and tried spinal decompression but none of it seemed to completely help me. Now i cant bend forward without feeling numbness and tingling. The pinched nerve is a complication of the herniated disk. So if i fix the herniation, i fix the pinching.

Also, how do you heal disk dessication (no water in disk) Thanks guys and please dont answer by saying to rest cuz i did this alredy for 2 months now and nothing.

Change your activities, avoid slump sitting and bending over, avoid lifting and twisting,

Change your posture, sit and stand ~ half way up straight, dont slouch and dont be rigid.

Increase your local muscle support, Google transverse abdominis and low back pain and find some exercises, also do the same for multifidus and pelvic floor so you increase your local support for the are with the dysfunction.

You may also benefit from an opening technique to unload the nerve in the ares, something like a reverse lateral flexion mobilisation, go see a physio and see what they reckon.

The disk will improve with good diet and these exercises will unload in to allow it to replenish if possible.

Back Pain Running Injury

01/01/2010

back pain running injury
I hurt my knee last summer, but never saw a dr.The pain went away in winter, but is back. Any ideas on injury?

While swimming in a lake last summer I tried to get myself onto a raft by throwing my left leg up first. I twisted my knee and the pain that followed on the inside of my knee was immense. For the next couple of days I could not go running or even walk for that matter without severe pain. There was little swelling, not much. I never saw a doctor because the injury occurred while I was on vacation. By the time I returned home the knee felt better, and it ever only hurt when I (tried to) rollerblade or shifted too much weight onto it. To my relief, the winter came and my activity level dwindled–and my knee didn’t hurt anymore. I figure it was healed. With the coming of summer now and me going back to running/walking/rollerblading etc… the knee is hurting again. Not awful, just a bit–especially (oddly) when I am laying down with my leg straight. Any ideas on what I possibly did to my knee last summer? Thanks!

Joint pains revive on account of some jerk or over fatigue. It will be ok soon as before

Herniated Disc Injury

herniated disc injury

What is a herniated disc surgery?

A persistent back pain can often be the result of a herniated disc. Disc herniation occur age and is a common condition in many people over forty. It affects most people between 30 and 50.

The intervertebral disc is a substance soft jelly-like vertebrae that protect it gets hard with age. When the intervertebral discs lose their elasticity, they are prone to rupture. In this case, part of the units rupture disk of the vertebrae. By itself, a rupture disk is no problem. However, the blow caused by the ruptured disc and pinched nerves in the spinal portion spinal cord. Since these structures increasingly under pressure, causing extreme pain and discomfort.

A herniated disc may be the result of years of coercion or abuse of the spine. It could also be the result of an injury or accident (a fall, for example). In fact, injuries are the leading cause of a herniated disc in people under 30 years. We see that most people with herniated discs and stenosis suffer from dystrophy, a condition where there is little space between the spinal cord and nerves that surround them. Thus, when the bursting disc, there is congestion in the region, causing irritation and pain.

Herniated discs cause malfunction of the nerves around the area. As a result, nerve signals in the area can be cut or misinterpreted by the brain. This could lead to numbness or tingling or a sensation similar to pins and needles. Some people experience pain similar to electric shock. Weakness muscle and reflex problems can also be experienced. In extreme cases, some people may have trouble urinating or defecating. All these symptoms are the result of a herniated disc resting on the nerves.

Approximately 50% of people with herniated discs heal in a month. Approximately 90% of people recover within six months. Only 10% are required to submit to a herniated disc surgery. The purpose of a herniated disc surgery is to allow greater freedom of lead motion and pain reduction.

Before a decision on a hernia surgery disk makes a series of less aggressive treatment strategies are explored. For example, doctors may recommend rest, physical therapy, heat or a cold or drugs anti-inflammatory. However, if significant neurological damage is detected, the surgical treatment of herniated disc is recommended.

A hernia Disc surgery can be performed in a number of ways. endoscopic removal are common. Nowadays, minimally invasive herniated disc are increasingly more common. This type of surgery reduces risk and speeds up recovery because there is minimal tissue and muscle damage. However, before opting for surgery minimally invasive for a herniated disc, it is important whether minimally invasive surgery really is. In most cases, but there is minimal disruption of the skin, no major damage to the muscles and tissues in the body. If this occurs, patients can not get any benefit from minimally invasive surgery.

Herniated Disc And Running

03/07/2009

herniated disc and running
Back pain, Herniated disc healing?

I’m 15 years old and I suspect a herniated disc.
About 2 months ago, I started working out again. (I took a 6 month break.)
Anyways, I used to always run outside, but certain conditions made it impossible and I had to use a treadmill.
I started to notice lower back pain, but ignored it.
Now it gradually increases, I did my research and suspect a herniated disc.
I plan on seeing a doctor soon after I get insurance.
I play soccer for my school, and I really do need a full recovery.
Anyways, I’d like to know the fastest way to recover:
Light exercise,
No exercise, just rest (which seemed to have worked previously on lower back pain.)
Or any alternatives.
One more thing:
Why is it when I run on concrete I get no back pain, but on a treadmill I do get lower back pain, if the treadmill “cushions” inpact?

don’t exersize don’t do anything go straight to the doctor it could get bad and you could get hurt even worse.

disc shmisc 3, case study: sciatica is not caused by a disc
