I have back problems and i cant find a doctor to give me prescriptions for pain killers?
I am 26 and have had back problems for 5 years and have been to several drs but all of the drs i have been to either say i am to young to be on pain kilers or they think that im there just to get drugs for recreational use. My son has had episodes of weakness, back pain, headaches, stomach and tenderness. Ideas?
My son is three years old has had "episodes" of claudication (Refusal to walk), back pain (although tenderness), stomach pain, bruises, dark circles under eyes and fatigue. I took it to the DR and they did it once and rays came back normal CBC all the time. I'm worried about your symptoms. Is it possible that your blood are normal and there is something wrong? Does anyone have any idea what to do next? Some days, it is very good and some days not. I fear that something is wrong and I'm sitting down and not taking care of him.
I am a mother of a child who was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 3 years old, and all symptoms you mention are very similar to what I lived with my son (I'm not saying that your son has leukemia or something), even if blood tests are normal, there may be spinal cord abnormalities in bone that are not detectable in regular blood tests (which is good because it means you took the process from the beginning) so .. answer your question, yes, it is possible that your blood tests are normal and there is something wrong … if I were you and my son has this symptom, I lead to the doctor and ask about a bone marrow aspiration (which is actually a biopsy of cells in the bone marrow) just to make sure that all is well .. Please do not leave it like that, go to another doctor or take him to a hospital for children. Skip to my attention, especially the episodes with a limp, I remember lot with my son .. used to tell me his legs hurt at night and some days I just stayed in bed, I was doing other things, but in general terms I was always tired. Heart problems runs in the family & cancer. Both sides. My sister has a heart problem where she got it half removed and a pace maker. Every few weeks/month I get an annoying problem with my stomach that will last for afew weeks, go away, and then come back.
The pain is usually around the middle of my stomach/sides. It’s a somewhat.. light pain when it hurts, more uncomfortable than anything, but it still really annoys me.
When it does happen to hurt more, sometimes it hurts a little bit when I press in on my stomach.
At the beginning of all of this, my ‘bathroom’ habits change, but it doesn’t seem like constipation to me.
It seems like sometimes yogurt helps it, and the discomfort usually seems to temporarily go away when I eat ((No, the discomfort isn’t because I’m hungry))
I guess my main question here is does it seem like this could be anything serious? Stomach cancer, or some form of cancer, or maybe an Ulcer?
I don’t have the money to go to the doctor at the moment, so any help here would be very appreciated.
you cant afford not to go to the doctors, dont they have indigent care programs in your area? they go by income or free clinics, just go and worry about the money later. ive had surgery twice without ins, its not impossible to get medical care when you need it
