Early life and career
Born in Corning, Iowa, Carson was raised in Norfolk, Nebraska. He left college after one year to join the U.S. Navy, with the rank of ensign. He joined the U.S. Navy June 8, 1943, as an apprentice seaman enrolled in the V-5 program, which trained the Navy and Marine pilots.
He hopes to train as a pilot, but was sent to Columbia University for midshipman training. He played the magic of his classmates on the side. Carson married his college sweetheart Joan "Jody" Wolcott on October 1, 1949. The marriage was volatile, with infidelities on both sides and ended in divorce. Had three children. His son Richard died in a traffic accident June 21, 1991.
In 1963, Carson has a "quickie" Mexican divorce and Joan Copeland Joan married on August 17, 1963. After a long divorce in 1972, Copeland received nearly half a million dollars in cash and the art and $ 100,000 per year food for life.
Joan Copeland recently found 39 episodes of the first season of The Johnny Carson Show, which were originally issued in 1955 and 1956. She then made a deal with Shout! Death and tributes

On March 19, 1999, Carson, then 73, suffered a severe heart attack at home Malibu, California. Carson was sleeping when he suddenly awoke with chest pain. He was taken to a hospital in nearby Santa Monica where he underwent surgery quadruple bypass.
At 6:50 EST on January 23, 2005, Carson died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, respiratory failure resulting from emphysema. He was 79. Carson had revealed his condition publicly in September 2002. After Carson's death, his body was cremated and his ashes were delivered to his wife. During the beginning of the show, Letterman said that for 30 years, no matter what was happening in the world, whether people had been good or bad, I wanted to end the day by being "hidden at Johnny. "Letterman also told his viewers that the monologue had only been composed entirely Carson jokes sent in the past months of his life. Doc Severinsen ended tonight's Letterman show playing one of two Carson's favorite songs, "Here's that rainy day" (the other was "I'll Be Seeing You"). It has been reported during the decades of glory Carson was off camera, so intensely private that he had never asked McMahon home. After Carson's death, if McMahon has denied these rumors and said that the existence of a close friendship. How do I get my stomach and intestines to start working properly again?
I’ve tried psyllium husk, other fibers, probiotics, stool softeners, enzymes, gas pills, vitamins, slippery elm, enemas, prunes and prune juice, and medications. I eat raw healthy foods daily. I am a healthy eater. I walk daily. I drink plenty of water.
