Is constant back pain means I'm going to preterm labor?

I posted a question that is not likely to Back pain if I sit for long periods of time. What happened to the last two weeks. I have 23 weeks along. Someone said (I forgot his name, sorry) this might mean that I am in preterm labor. Is this true? Should I worry? Intense back pain? Labor?

I’ve been having really bad lower back pain concentrated on my left side like a pulled muscle all day. At first it was only hurting when I moved or twisted certain ways so I brushed it off too just sleeping wrong or something. But now it’s constant, somewhat dull, but getting a bit more intense but not extremely painful or coming in intervals. I have had some tightening in my upper stomach area, I think. But I can’t quite tell if it’s baby moving or what because that isn’t painful at all. I can’t time anything because nothing is regular or in sync. I’m going to go to sleep and I figure real labor will wake me up but just wanted to hear if anyone else experienced this. Thanks.

You are definitely in labor. I had the same thing. Back pain all night, lost my appetite and then it started kind of wrapping around to the front. I would go to the hospital or at least get in within the next half hour to your Dr. Hospital is the best choice.
