Possible causes of back pain 6

Back pain is a complex problem and there is no simple answer to the question, What causes back pain?

One reason is difficult to determine what causes back pain, is that many structures that can be shot in the lower back (lumbar) region. You can injure muscles, ligaments, intervertebral discs, nerve roots, the cartilage lining of the joints, bones of the lower back, even in spinal cord. And, of course, can damage many structures in the lumbar region.

Well, I think you get the point that the lower back is difficult.

Now I try to simplify the back pain and focus on the mechanical back pain (associated with osteoarthritis) that a type of problem affecting the area lumbar.

mechanical back pain or arthritis primarily affects the cartilage that lines the joints between the vertebrae of the lower back. It is mentioned that back pain due to mechanical compression (mechanical phenomenon) is usually the cause of pain.
When compressed joints, cartilage worn. When cartilage wears away, the joints become stiff and sore.

Here are six factors that may contribute to additional pressure on the joints of the lower back.

# 1 A sedentary lifestyle sitting at a computer puts extra pressure on the joints of the lower back. When sitting, Upper body weight is supported only the lower back compared to when you are standing your ankle, knee, thigh muscles and take some of the pressure in the lower back.

# 2 Poor posture puts extra stress on your lower back. When your body is not in the correct position, you will have more pressure on the area that is out of alignment and also have less stability in the region.

# 3 weak abdominal muscles can increase the pressure in the lower back. The abdominal muscles help to maintain the position of the pelvis and lower back and stop the return of arch too.

# 4 muscles the lower back can increase the pressure on the lower back. The lower back muscles, like the abdominal muscles play an important role in stabilizing lower back.

# 5 The lack of flexibility may increase the pressure in the lower back. When your body is stiff, it does not move efficiently. If your body is stiff in one area, additional pressure will be in another field to alleviate the stiffness.

# 6 lifts poor technique and poor exercise may increase pressure on the lower back. incorrectly during exercise and poor body mechanics when lifting himself extra strain on lower back.

Above is just a point of view simple and fast mechanical back pain. Prolonged sitting, poor posture, muscle weak abdominals, weak low back muscles, poor flexibility, and exercise Incorrect or remission of the techniques can increase the pressure on the cartilage lining the joints of the lower back.

As a physiotherapist, I try to encourage people suffering from back pain to stand a little lower front of the computer to move regularly.

In addition, I encourage people to be aware of your posture and exercise regularly to strengthen your abs and low back muscles. And finally, I encourage people to stretch regularly and use good lifting technique to reduce the pressure in the lower back.

Although I am a licensed therapist, this article is strictly for educational and informational purposes and is not intended to diagnose or treat back pain. If you suffer low back pain, I suggest you consult a health professional and follow the advice of your physician.
