What are the guidelines for insurnce settlement involving a car accident?

I was in a car accident and I’m experianceing lower back pain my Dr has sent me for an MRI and pyhsical therapy the Insuance company is wantint to settle. I don’t know what is a fair offer.

The basic rule of thumb is you should get at least three times your medical bills. If you are still having problems continue to get treatment. You should have two years to settle.
